Hello 2018

2018 blog

Two-thousand and seventeen.Β  It came and went in a flash. It was indeed a year of exploration; exploring my interests, strengths, and, of course, the world. I learnt many life lessons, one of them being that sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is just let go. I also know that it was a year of great hardship for some, and great success for others. So whether you fell into the former or the latter, remember that a new year is a wonderful chance to start afresh. A few things I learnt in 2017:

  • You have to do it for yourself. Intrinsic motivation is the most important kind to do anything that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
  • Take a chance. Do something that scares you. You might just find it’s the best thing you could ever have done (I did).
  • Don’t harbour ill feeling. Its poison. Make peace. As hard as it can be, it’s the purest way to stay happy.
  • Be happy and present. If ever you’re feeling in a slump, count your blessings. It’ll light your way.
  • Make your well-being a priority, always.

Wishing you a light-filled year of success, love and laughter.

Hello

I read yesterday’s post through and realised there were no paragraphs and that it was a big mush of words. I was just so frantic to get it all down, but I’ve edited it now. I finally finished reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and I’ve treasured each and every page. It’s such an inspiring book and it has made me see my creative process through new eyes. My #366 project has been really fun and I’ve hit 200 followers on Instagram! Thank you for your support!

I’ve always wanted to try digitizing my work, but I’ve never got around to it. I finally did it the other day and I’m so excited to share it with you!

I really hope you like it and that it finds a place in your home or anywhere really. If you do use it, I’d love to see! Post a picture on Instagram and tag me!

It’s an A4 print. I didn’t convert it into a PDF, so you can simply save it to your computer, phone or tablet. This is my own work and for personal use only. Be nice, don’t steal.

Have a fab week and weekend!
