Last week I posted my favourite cupcake recipe but I didn’t add how to make the icing. For me icing is one of those things that I never really follow a recipe for, but here’s what I used to make the icing.
- Icing sugar (1 cup)
- Butter (add amount depending on the consistency you want)
- Milk (add amount depending on the consistency you want)
- 3 tablespoons of coffee
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa
You have to stir the icing very vigorously to ensure that no lumps form. Ice the cakes using a piping bag or bottle or just spread it on with a butter knife.
